Leuven, 2011: Divine Sounds

In co-operation with M Leuven & Illuminare the Alamire Foundation organised the exhibition Divine Sounds. From the early Middle Ages until the end of the Ancien Régime (10th – 18th century), Gregorian chant was omnipresent in Europe’s musical life. The exhibition presented the development and circulation of this repertoire in Flanders and revealed this unknown, hidden treasure.
